With the increased need for card security, MagnePrint® readers offer a secure method of validating almost all magnetic card transactions. MagnePrint® is a card security technology that can detect “skimmed” or magnetically altered counterfeit cards. Just as fingerprints can uniquely identify human beings, MagnePrint® can uniquely identify magstripe cards.
The MagnePrint® modules offer a convenient building block for almost any magnetic card reader. The module incorporates both traditional magnetic data recovery plus this new secure method of card protection. Communication to module is consistent with the Shift-Out interface used by MagTek’s Delta ASIC.
